Everlane Re:Down Sleeping Bag Puffer Coat
One of the key pieces I’ve been living in this season is this Everlane Re:Down Sleeping Bag Puffer. From throwing on first thing in the morning to taking the dogs out at night and everything in between, I wear this puffer coat every. single. day. Without fail. It’s become my robe of sorts and I’m absolutely in love.

To be fair, I’ve never had a full-length puffer coat before but (regardless) I think this might be the best of the best.
Why? To start, it’s sustainably-made from recycled down comforters and pillows + plastic bottles—18 to be exact—which for me personally is a massive plus. I’ve always preferred down alternatives but, with the recycled nature of this one, I feel good about making a conscious purchase.
The thought of a puffer coat makes me think, well, puffy, and I love how this one is warm and cozy yet lightweight and non-constricting. It’s not at all bulky or heavy and it wears comfortably whether wearing it in the car or on the go. When they say “sleeping bag” they’re not kidding—it really is that comfy!
Everlane says this puffer coat is ideal for 10-30 degree temperatures and while we normally experience 50-degree winters in California, it’s definitely kept me warm enough for 30-degree mornings. I’ve also worn it in the rain and the water-resistant fabric performs perfectly well—keeps you dry + dries quickly!
In terms of sizing, I find Everlane generally runs large and they also describe this coat as oversized. I’m typically an xs and went with the xxs. I’m 5’6” for reference and, for me, it’s a perfect fit.
I also think it’s very affordable at the under $200 price point, especially for the amount of wear. As mentioned, I throw mine on with everything. Leggings and sweaters + sneakers for walking the dogs. Jeans and sweaters for workdays. I even find it’s sleek enough for pairing with dresses, as I actually wore this over my Christmas dress!
For an everyday combo, I paired it with a striped mock neck tee, high rise jeans and black boots.
As always, thank you for reading!
