Public Access is Friday, July 19th through the end of the sale, Sunday, August 4th. That means prices go UP August 5th.
You can see more about the sale and how I shop it in THIS POST
I kept my purchases to a minimum this year and really focused on keeping things classic or filling a void in my wardrobe. That’s really how I prefer to shop it but of course this varies from person to person, so I’m including items across multiple categories. You can also see my Classic #NSALE Buys Post for more staples.
A few non-clothing favorites I already love/use:
My favorite Dior Lip Glow is part of the beauty exclusives. This is the only thing I wear on my lips (besides no-color lip balm) and it leaves the prettiest natural pink shade. I have 001 Pink Glow (which is included in the gift set) and it’s supposed to adjust to your own body chemistry. It’s soft, hydrating and buildable.
My hair dryer is also part of the sale. I use this T3 Cura Hair Dryer which is supposed to help fight frizz and I think it really does. It’s not overly noisy and is also just really pretty and sleek, which is a silly thing to love but—anything to make drying your hair a little more exciting. 🤣
More Anniversary Sale Beauty Exclusives
If you follow me on Instagram (or have already read my previous #nsale purchases blog post), you know my favorite item from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is this Topshop Satin Blouse. It’s a great effortless basic that’s somehow not-so-basic. And I love that. It’s sleek, chic and dreamy and I love how many styling options it has, from cutoff shorts to jeans to trousers.
Topshop sizing can be tricky but I went with the US 2 (normally a US 0/xs in blouses or even 00/xxs in brands like J.Crew) and it fits perfectly. I think their size guide is accurate. This one’s a steal at $45.90!
I always love a lace cami + cardigan combo with jeans or even shorts and sandals for summer. This BP. lace cami has been going in and out of stock in several of the colors but it’s a great relaxed fit in your normal size. (I’m wearing an xs). This Leith Longline Duster Cardigan in Beige Oatmeal is so soft and I love the slits on the sides, which makes it fall/drape so beautifully—and in a flattering way! I’m also wearing an xs in this one and it also comes in other neutrals like grey, which is a great color for a duster cardigan—so effortless. I read some reviews on the site saying it’s itchy but I’m fairly sensitive to texture and don’t find it itchy or scratchy at all. For length reference, I’m 5’6’.
I also picked up this Leith wrap sweater and it’s a bit more fitted than I thought but a really great effortless style to mix up your basic knits and sweaters. 👏🏼I’m wearing a small here (normally an xs or small) but almost could even do a medium for more slouch. It comes in a few colors (grey, black, blush and olive) and is a great price at $31.90!
One item that was a flop for me were these BLANKNYC Straight Leg Crop Denim. From the site, I thought they’d be a nice, mid-blue to light wash but they’re much darker in person. The length hit at an unflattering spot on my leg and I just wasn’t a huge fan of the not-quite-skinny-not-quite-straight fit. If you’re more on the petite side (under 5’4”) the length might be better!
I DO like these Paige skinny jeans though. They also look much lighter on the site but they’re still a nice wash and the fit is great. High rise and super skinny down to the ankle. They’re also very soft and run true to size!
I bought both of these flats and hands-down my favorite are the nude pair by Cole Haan. I just love how they look on the foot (very flattering) and they go with everything. Cole Haan is one of my favorite brands for comfort and these would be great if you’re a commuter, teacher, etc. The snakeskin print flats are by Franco Sarto and are also comfy and a fun style to add a little interest. I found both run a little large. I’m normally between an 8 and 8.5 and went with an 8 in both. I also really love the look of these Vince loafers in the nude or grey!
