Filling my wardrobe with classic and interchangeable basics is something I'm really trying to focus on lately. I really feel less stressed when I have pieces I consider to be timeless investments that can be worn multiple ways. I feel even better when all of those "investments" are under $100 from Nordstrom.

A basic tee is a must—obviously—but I was incredibly surprised to realize I had not one black tee in my wardrobe—until now. This Madewell tee is a game changer and I've been wearing it non-stop since I snagged it. So comfy and effortless and you can't beat the $29.50 price point.

I've been loving adding skirts to my typical jeans wardrobe and picked up this one by June & Hudson as the perfect comfy basic to dress up or down. I'm obsessed with anything olive and love how it's a tone that works well for every season. It's the perfect piece to pair with literally any color tee topped with a denim jacket (love this one from Nordstrom BP) or dress up with a silky blouse for work or date night. 

Bonus points for making skirt wearing SO comfy and I love how you can cinch and tie the waist where you want it. I can't wait to take this one into fall with comfy sweaters.

Lastly, these grey suede midi boots by Steve Madden might be my favorite pair ever. They have that casual-cool thing going on and I love them with skirts, dresses and rolled up denim for a relaxed, cool girl vibe. Snagged these in black too because they're that good.
