Rust Miniskirt and Cotton Sweater
One of my biggest goals in life is to live in a house covered in bougainvillea. ๐๐ผ I love heading into San Francisco to take advantage of the cooler temps and it was a dream shooting near this bougainvillea covered home Pacific Heights. This house = major goals.
While it's still very much summer here in the Bay Area, I'm making sure to concentrate on adding items to my wardrobe that can make the transition into fall with ease. I picked up this J.O.A miniskirt plus a few more staples from Nordstrom to do just that. Nordstrom is my one-stop shop for everything and I love how you can snag so many classic, yet on-trend staples.
I love the muted rust tone of this skirt for both summer and fall and how easily it can be dressed up or down. The wrap silhouette is so flattering and the double ties give it such an effortless vibe. A quick size guideโI would definitely consider sizing UP, especially if you'd like it to fit a little more a-line. I initially ordered it in the xs but had to exchange it for a size small.
I paired it with this J.Crew lightweight sweater from Nordstrom, which is is another wear now and later style. It's an easy lightweight cotton and I love the classic silhouette and dramatic sleeves. I'm wearing an xxs in this one.
I finished with my favorite grey suede midi boots for a slightly breezy day in the city but I've also worn this skirt more casually with my favorite white tee and gladiator sandals.
What styles are taking you into the fall season?
xx, Tyler
