Fitting Room Diaries: October
I hope your October is going well! My sister's wedding is less than two weeks away, so mine has been busy, busy as I prep for that—it's in Mexico!—but I really can't wait! I did want to blog some of my recent fitting room finds for you, though. These seem to be some of my most popular posts on Instagram, so I figured it would be good to do a roundup.
First up is my new favorite olive wrap top shown above. Honestly, I don't think I've ever owned a wrap top, but I'm 100% a new convert. It's so flattering and the perfect color for the season. Great for work under a blazer, casual wear with jeans and flats or paired with a faux leather jacket and booties for a night out. I'm wearing an XS.
My next favorite is this tank. I'm a big fan of basics and honestly, I don't think I've ever loved a tank more. It's a swing style, but I love it knotted to give it a bit more shape. I've been a big fan of knotting knits lately—it's like an easier version of a half tuck. It's SO soft and the perfect base for cardigans and all those faux suede jackets this season. In the white top, I'm wearing an XS and I actually went back and snagged it in grey in a size large (!) and still love, love the fit—a bit more relaxed. My cardigan is also from Gap, but I couldn't find it online!!
Another one from Gap and my first official sweater of the season—this grey tone is my favorite and it's ultra-soft and cozy. It's slightly slouchy but looks great with a half-tuck again for a bit more shape and structure. I'm wearing an XS.
I'm a huge fan of peplums for their feminine flair. This one from Nordstrom is feminine with a bohemian touch—a bit of a peasant top but fitted through the waist. Again, another great one for work, casual wear and a night out. I'm wearing an XS.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your October!
