Style Notes—Summer Pants
If you’re not a big dress wearer or prefer pants over shorts, this is the summer look for you. A style staple I always reach for, linen and linen-like pants are one of the best breezy alternatives to denim for the warmer months, in my opinion.
I’ll wear a pair dressed “up” with a feminine white top for an all-white outfit that somehow always feels right for things like Mother’s Day brunch or toss them on with a tee for an everyday look but my favorite of them all is adding a knit tank or cami in a nude tone.
Paired with straw accessories like a packable straw hat and straw tote—there’s something instantly effortless about this combination and it always screams summer or vacation to me. This was one of my favorite looks from our honeymoon in Mexico and is the first outfit I’ll reach for in lieu of a dress on hot summer days.
