Easing into almost 30 weeks with baby bump (wow) and still relying on non-maternity pieces to take me through. Bump or no bump, a comfy cotton midi dress (with stretch) is a wardrobe favorite for me and I love the beige tone of this Tularosa Midi Dress. I find a square neckline incredibly flattering, as it adds just the right amount of structure to an otherwise simple silhouette. The lettuce hem adds a feminine feel and the style is just perfect for vacation or even taking into fall layered with a sweater.
Enter the Jenni Kayne Oversized Crewneck. When it comes to pairing sweaters with dresses, I’m quite adamant about finding the right fit. I find Jenni Kayne sweaters offer the perfect relaxed silhouette (with just the right amount of shape) to drape so beautifully. This one is a slightly boxy style but the added rib detailing at the hemlines offers the perfect amount of polish that’s incredibly effortless. It’s a thicker knit so it holds its shape well, yet the cotton-cashmere blend is perfect for a transitional season. In terms of sizing, as the name states, it does run oversized. Even with my baby bump, I sized down one size from my usual size across brands. (Wearing an XXS) Depending on fit preference, I think there’s plenty of room to play!
