All-White Outfit with Camel Cardigan
Spring and summer whites, white after Labor Day, winter whites…there isn’t a season you can’t wear white. And an easy, chic combination is a tonal or monochromatic look. Pairing together various shades of white (or really any color) is honestly such a simple way to feel sophisticated.
Something that instantly makes a tonal outfit come together is mixing textures, which is why I’ve been reaching for this cashmere sweater tee for an ultra-soft and luxe touch. It’s lightweight and comfortable and gives the perfect hint of texture without the bulk that can come from chunkier knits. A short-sleeve sweater option is truly perfect for the season—it makes layering a breeze! This Everlane cashmere tee also comes in classic black and brass and is the perfect wardrobe investment piece for $90. If you’re looking for the perfect slightly-relaxed fit, get your true size.
I tucked the cashmere tee into my favorite Everlane straight leg pants (size down in these). They have an ultra-high rise and make tucking such a breeze. The straight leg and cotton fabric keep them comfy and easy to wear for both work and play. These come in soo many classic colors. I have the regular length in these and am 5’6” for reference!
One easy tip to create a tonal outfit is to stick with two neutral tones. Choose your base shade (i.e. shades of white) then add in one more tone (in this case—camel!) for the accents or accessories. I chose white snake-print flats for another dose of texture and kept my bag in the same colorway as my layer. A cozy layer like this J.Crew Ella open-front sweater blazer adds instant fall-appeal but you could just as easily toss on a trench coat.
This white on white outfit is something I reached for throughout the summer but adding in a touch of camel has been the easiest quick way to take this outfit into fall!
As always, thank you so much for reading!
