The Most Flattering Top

I’ve said it before but I truly think a wrap top is flattering on pretty much any frame. It nips in at the waist and creates that instant hourglass silhouette that, let’s face it—doesn’t every woman want?

I adore this J.Crew wrap top and love how it’s the perfect twist on a classic button-down but even blousier styles are just as flattering. I think knit styles are perfect for added comfort but there's something about a little structure and flounce from silkier styles that make me feel more confident in a wrap silhouette. Do you find this, as well?

I think a wrap top is one of those wardrobe workhorses that you can pull out to pair with jeans for day to date night or dress up with black (or any color) trousers for an easy work-ready ensemble. I added light-wash, distressed jeans to dress the top down but you could also try your wrap tops with dark denim for a dressed-up feel.
