The holidays are quickly approaching and with every holiday event comes the need for an appropriate outfit. From work parties to block parties, Thanksgiving and New Year’s (to everything in between), this outfit combination is quick, easy, classic and timeless. If you’re not a jeans girl like me, swapping out the denim for sleek black pants, festive corduroy or a fun skirt will have you holiday ready in no time.

For some reason, fall and winter night out tops is the section of my wardrobe that’s lacking, so every season, I look for styles to bulk up this need. Feminine blouses, long sleeves, things I can easily layer with a jacket are top of priority. This Adelyn Rae Flora Blouse fits the bill. I love the sleek black but it also comes in crisp white and I truly love the versatility of this piece. For a sleek look for work to holiday party, I added this tweed jacket also from Adelyn Rae. The fit is amazing and I love the edgy stud details.

I slipped into my comfiest, low-heeled pumps from Everlane. These go with everything and are so, so comfy and easy to wear. They are two inches high and come in 18 colors! These are a must and make any outfit look sleek and chic.
