Striped Dress and Sneakers
How many of you are dress and heel wearers? I am definitely NOT a heel wearer and jeans are a daily staple for me, so anytime I can find a dress I can wear with sneakers, sandals, flats—I'm all about it. This Topshop striped shift dress from Nordstrom is just that and the style is made for dressing down. Things I look for in styles that are easy to dress down? Cotton, stripes, shift/shirt dress silhouettes and t-shirt styles. Basically—styles in the casual dress section at Nordstrom are my jam.
I haven't had a pair of Adidas sneakers since middle school (you just weren't one of the cool kids if you didn't have those white kicks with three stripes) and I'm so glad I finally decided to relive my early teens with these Adidas Campus sneakers. They might be my new favorite and I love the casual-cool, effortless vibe they add to any outfit. I would suggest sizing down! I'm normally an 8 or 8.5 (I wear an 8 in Nike) and I went with the 7.5 but I might have even been able to wear a 7.
These sneakers come in several more colors, including white, pink and grey. Personally, I think this clear brown/neutral tone is the most versatile and I'm all about purchasing pieces that are wearable in many ways. So far, I've also worn these with distressed denim and tees, a denim skirt outfit and, of course, leggings.
I love the twist on a classic striped shift dress thanks to the mock neck and tie-sleeves on this dress but I'm also linking a few more styles I love that you can easily dress down with these sneakers—all under $100. 🙌🏼
