Cognac Loafers and Floral Wrap Top
I never knew it until last week (i.e. when I got my first pair) but everyone needs a pair of mules (or backless loafers) in their closet. And I mean everyone. I'm a big fan of flats and these just somehow take flats to the next level. It's been so nice to get out of all my boots, booties and sneakers and slip into this style for spring.
This pair by Sam Edelman from Nordstrom honestly might just be the shoe that's missing from your closet. They're the perfect classic loafer style, the cognac color goes with everything and the tassels give them a fun and on-trend touch. To say I'm obsessed would be an understatement.
I've been wearing them with everything since I got them and the best part is—they really do go with everything. I swear they make any outfit feel instantly chic and I kind of can't even wait to wear them with shorts and sweaters as the weather warms. They're such a classic and easy style and the slide aspect makes them the perfect airy silhouette for spring.
I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 and ordered these in the 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I would say they're true to size but if you're in between sizes, size UP! They come in a bunch of colors and even prints. I've also had my eye on a few other mules from Nordstrom like this Steve Madden pair, this Free People pair in black and these in rose gold and blush. (heart eyes)
I first wore these loafers with my new favorite Madewell white tee and love how they take a jeans and tee outfit to the next level. They're just as perfect with this flirty, floral, wrap top from Nordstrom that's pretty perfect for spring. I bought my first wrap top last summer and you guys...I knew they were flattering but it's crazy just how flattering. So cute with jeans, shorts come spring or even layered under a blazer for work. And extra perfect with my new loafers. I'm wearing an xs and sized UP in my Topshop jeans.
