Favorite Purchases of 2016

Happy New Year! I hope you've all had an amazing holiday season. I was hoping to head up to my cabin for some snow time but I didn't make it. :( I am ringing in the New Year with some of my favorite people, though, and am looking forward to a great 2017—exciting things happening over here and I hope the same for you! I wanted to take a moment to round up some of my favorite purchases of 2016. 

Hands-down my favorite purchase of the year was this Blank NYC suede moto jacket. I had been wanting it since the #nsale and I'm so happy I finally snagged it. I've been tossing it on with everything—from dressy to casual—and it's such a great staple. I'm wearing an xs for size reference. 

My next favorite purchase would have to be my over-the-knee boots. I can't believe I got my first OTK style this year but they're perfect. I love them for dressing up or down and so far this pair hasn't been slipping down throughout the day. I'm between sizes and I always have to size UP in Steve Madden.

I LOVE sneakers. You guys probably don't see this as much on Instagram but I wear them literally every single day—even to work. I love this pair of Nike's and I highly recommend updating yours for the New Year. I swear it's true that new workout gear is a great motivator—at least for me!

This pair of Franco Sarto booties is the best ever. Ever! I don't often find a pair that I want to wear day and night with everything but this pair is it. They're COMFY, which is hard to find for daily wear. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 and I sized down to a 7.5 in these for the best fit. They're currently 50% off through January 2nd! 

I got a few new bags during Black Friday and my favorite has to be this Rebecca Minkoff crossbody. I got it in cognac and this mushroom color and I wear both of them all. the. time. They go with everything from dressy to casual and being hands-free is the way to be. 

Finally, my absolute favorite part of 2016 was when my sister got married in Mexico. She was the most beautiful bride and I'm lucky she let me pick out my MOH dress. I loved this one by Amsale and I'm already wondering when and how I can wear it again.
