The Trench Coat - This sleeveless trench from Chic Wish is really more of a twist on the classic style, but I love, love, love it. The ivory goes with everything and I love that it has the feel of a dress and is classic,  but feminine and fun. The flared skirt is kind of adorable and it's perfect over my next staple....

A Sweater Dress - A neutral sweater dress is seriously a go-to fall and winter style and a chunky knit number will keep you comfy throughout the season. It's effortless. Throw it on with boots-tall or ankle-and you're good to go. Which leads me to my next staple....

Black Booties - I only recently stepped up my black ankle bootie game and I'm oh-so-glad I did. I snagged these Cole Haan beauties in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and it was one of my best decisions. They're the perfect height both where they hit my ankle, as well as heel height, and the suede is stunning. Crazy comfortable and perfect dressed up or down. Size Note: I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 and I got these in a 7.5! My final staple in this look is....

A Neutral Satchel - This Kate Spade bag is kind of like woah. What does that mean? I'm not exactly sure, but pretty sure it means it's amazing. The "mousse frosting" color is this perfect taupey-grey and it kind of goes with everything. From spring to fall and everything in between, this one is a knockout.
