It's officially Fall and while the weather may not know it, I'm still determined to at least dress like it's Fall. I told you I got new ankle boots from Nordstrom Rack this weekend and I couldn't wait to wear them! They are a gorgeous taupey-grey, have a cute little V dip on both sides, crisscross buckles (that I may have just now realized are supposed to crisscross, although I kind of prefer them not crossed anyway) and to top it all off--they have the most perfect heel height that makes them easy to dress up or down. They're really just cool boots, especially paired with distressed denim and a comfy knit for a touch of softness. 

This sweater vest (with pockets!) was also a Nordstrom Rack find. Seriously, run to Nordstrom Rack ASAP. This one is so cozy and has a really great effortless vibe. It's the perfect thing for transitioning into sweater weather, whether paired with a simple tee or layered over a summer dress. It's all about those Fall layers after all and I really love a good neutral layered look.
