Neutral and Gold

This probably won't come as a surprise, but my favorite way to accessorize is with lots of gold. Shocker. One might say you can go gold overboard, but I am clearly not one of those people. Todays post combines my favorite hues. I am always drawn to a soft color palette-- white, cream, nude and soft pink. So much so that half of my closet is dedicated to it and sometimes I have to tell myself not to buy yet another cream blouse. But, of course, I can never help myself. Hence, half my closet is dedicated to it. But, with good reason. There's such a softness and femininity that goes along with such soft colors. Romantic, pretty, feminine. That is the epitome of how I like to dress. And what else do I love about these gorgeous hues? They look even more gorgeous with gold! 

This ruffle top was one of those, "Do I need another cream blouse?" purchases. When it's a ruffled peplum blouse the answer is always a big YES to me! (Bonus: This beauty is on sale for $20!!) I paired this sweet and delicate top with my soft-pink J Brand super skinnies in the color romantic, how fitting! J Brand jeans are my all time favorite and I almost always buy them when they're on Hautelook, which is quite a bit, so I highly recommend taking a peek every so often if you're a J Brand lover like me. 

A delicate gold necklace, a golden arm party, and my favorite gold gladiator sandals finish off the look and my ASOS snakeskin cross body gives just a touch of grit and edge to this soft and sweet, neutral and gold look.
