Leopard and Lace

Now we all now leopard is a neutral, but to me it's also just a touch edgy, and one of my favorite fashion combinations is pairing something edgy with something feminine and sweet. The easiest way for me to add a touch of femininity and romance to any look is with a touch of lace. Whether it's distressed denim and lace, camo and lace, or leopard and lace, I just love the juxtaposition and contrast it creates. 

I have been wanting a lace-sleeved sweater for quite some time, and I am so glad I picked up this one from ASOS (on sale)! It's the softest pink, comfiest cotton, and has the sweetest sleeves. I've been waiting for the weather to cool down to wear it with jeans for a Fall look, but all of this softness and sweetness just had me swooning, and I really couldn't see myself waiting any longer to wear it. So, I made it weather appropriate with my leopard shorts, but still had to give it a nod to Fall with booties and my oxblood cross body. I just love the touches of gold chain on the strap, but of course still added another dose of gold with my gold rebel pendant necklace.
